Solution IT Inc. is looking for SAP FICO Functional for one of its clients at Houston, TX / Hybrid

Job Title: SAP FICO Functional

Summary

Looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, specializing in financial processes, controlling, and profitability analysis. This is a contract role focused on stabilization of the SAP ECC environment, delivering improvements to financial controls, costing structures, and reporting. The role requires a hands-on consultant capable of implementing changes and delivering tangible outcomes within a short timeframe.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling
• Hands-on experience with COPA and profitability analysis
• Experience with cost centre accounting and product costing
• Ability to simplify financial structures (profit centres, reporting hierarchies)
• Experience implementing financial controls (e.g. journal approvals, SoD alignment)
• Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules
• Coordination with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, and reports
• Troubleshooting issues and providing root cause analysis with timely resolution
• Preparation of Functional Specifications, Test Scripts, and User Training Documents
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration and business processes
• Hands-on ECC configuration experience.
• Experience in stabilisation, optimisation, or transformation projects
• Good understanding of financial governance and control processes

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal.
• SAP FI/CO Certification (preferred)

Work Site: Houston, TX / Hybrid 3 days/week

Duration: 6 Months
