Responsibilities
Develop object oriented software in Python, working with object oriented databases and grid computing on the proprietary platform.
Build data transfer tools to replicate data from a NoSQL datastore into an Oracle Exadata environment.
Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile delivery practices.
Required Experience
Hands on experience writing object oriented Python, with the ability to produce clean, enterprise level code on a proprietary platform.
Strong experience designing, optimizing, and tuning SQL database tables and queries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes. The team is shifting from a monolithic architecture toward microservices, so knowledge here will help support that transition.

This is a Contract position based out of Jersey City, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
