About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience in aerospace systems to join our team in Plano, TX. This role involves end-to-end design of electronic products, primarily focused on PCB and wiring board design for aerospace applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and marketing, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electronic products from concept to production (end-to-end lifecycle)
  • Develop and design printed circuit boards (PCBs) and wiring boards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, marketing)
  • Ensure designs meet manufacturing, cost, and quality requirements
  • Manage part numbering and schematic documentation to avoid duplication
  • Support configuration control and quality standards for aerospace systems
  • Work on build, test, qualification, and deployment of products
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and provide technical leadership
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders


Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Strong background in aerospace engineering (required)
  • Experience with full product development lifecycle (design to deployment)
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence or Altium
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and configuration control tools (e.g., Enovia SmartTeam)
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and cost optimization
  • Understanding of circuit modeling and simulation (LTSpice or similar)
  • Familiarity with standards such as DO-160 / DO-254 (or similar aerospace standards)
  • Basic understanding of software principles (no coding required)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of optics, physics, or thermal dynamics
  • Experience working with LED-based systems or lighting components
  • Background in industries with similar testing standards (aerospace, automotive, etc.)
