Title: Senior Java Application Developer (IT Analyst)
Location: Salt Lake City - Remote (Onsite as needed)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Minimum Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must have all three:
· Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
· Solid expertise in PostgreSQL, including writing SQL queries and working with databases.
· Practical experience with cloud computing and AWS environments.
Required Technical Experience
· Java: 15+ years of experience with Java Core, Java EE/JEE, JPA, and JPQL.
· JSF/PrimeFaces: 5+ years of experience developing web applications using JSF/PrimeFaces.
· PostgreSQL: 10+ years of experience with PostgreSQL SQL and PL/pgSQL.
· AWS/Cloud: 5+ years of experience working with cloud development processes and AWS.
· REST APIs: 5+ years of experience developing Java-based RESTful web services.
· Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications, web services, and REST APIs.
· Build web applications using Java frameworks and integrate them with PostgreSQL databases.
· Implement secure authentication using OAuth2, OpenAM, or similar technologies.
· Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments in AWS.
· Ensure application security, data encryption, and accessibility standards.
· Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to deliver application requirements.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Maven, GitHub, Agile, JIRA, CI/CD, JUnit, Selenium, Apache JMeter, and database schema design.
