General Summary

The Senior Bench Test Engineer leads the development, automation, and execution of advanced bench-level test solutions for RF and mixed-signal hardware. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in RF measurements, strong software development capabilities, and the ability to architect robust test methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development of advanced bench-level test plans for RF, mixed-signal.

- Implement automated test using C#, LabView, Python.

- Perform complex RF characterization including EVM, ACLR, Gain, Noise Figure, IP3, Phase Noise, and S-parameters.

- Set up and operate RF equipment: Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters.

- Lead debug efforts for test failures, instrumentation issues, and RF board problems.

- Develop advanced data analysis tools and automated result processing scripts.

- Collaborate with RF Design, Validation, and Product Engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on RF and bench testing experience.

- Expertise on test automation.

- Strong understanding of RF measurement science.

- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and system-level hardware documents.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in RF, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.

- 5+ years in RF bench testing or validation.

- Experience with SCPI, VISA, and automated instrument control.

- Familiarity with LTE, 5G NR, GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS standards.

- Knowledge of RF PCB design basics.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to work at a test bench for extended periods.

- Ability to lift and install lab equipment up to 5 lbs.

- Ability to move between labs and offices as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
