Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP EWM Consultant with 14+ years of SAP experience to join our team remotely in Canada. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), including implementation, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to design and deliver scalable warehouse management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver SAP EWM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Gather and analyze warehouse business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
- Configure SAP EWM warehouse structures, warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and activity areas.
- Configure inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Configure Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, and Stock Removal processes.
- Configure warehouse process types, warehouse orders, warehouse tasks, and warehouse order creation rules.
- Configure and support inbound and outbound delivery processing.
- Work on wave management, picking strategies, replenishment strategies, and warehouse task management.
- Configure handling units (HUs), packaging specifications, and packing processes.
- Implement and support Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting processes.
- Configure warehouse monitoring and exception handling.
- Support labor management and resource management processes where applicable.
- Work on RF framework and RF-based warehouse execution processes.
- Configure and support cross-docking, slotting, kitting, deconsolidation, and value-added services (VAS).
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, TM, PP, and other systems.
- Support integration between EWM and external warehouse automation systems using appropriate interfaces.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, workflows, and custom developments.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP and integration teams.
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Support data migration, cutover planning, mock cutovers, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct workshops, user training, knowledge-transfer sessions, and process demonstrations.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and business process documents.
- Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse processes and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 14+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP EWM expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Expertise in Putaway, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, Stock Removal, and Warehouse Task Management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse structure and master data.
- Experience with Warehouse Process Types, Warehouse Orders, Warehouse Tasks, and Wave Management.
- Experience with Handling Units and Packaging Specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting.
- Experience with RF framework and mobile warehouse processes.
- Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, TM, and PP.
- Experience with EWM production support and incident management.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, testing, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
- Experience with Decentralized SAP EWM.
- Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management integration.
- Experience with warehouse automation and third-party warehouse systems.
- Knowledge of EWM MFS (Material Flow System).
- Experience with labor management, slotting, VAS, and cross-docking.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and EWM monitoring tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience working on large-scale warehouse transformation projects in North American environments.
