Desktop Support TechnicianPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with a strong customer service mindset and hands-on technical support experience. This role provides both remote and onsite support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of desktop-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide remote and onsite technical support to end users.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Support user account management and access-related requests.
- Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, migrations, and equipment replacements.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within a ticket management system.
- Support peripheral devices including printers and other endpoint equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating technical information to non-technical users.
Required Qualifications- 1 to 2+ years of desktop support, technical support, or help desk experience.
- Experience supporting desktop operating systems in an enterprise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to hardware, software, and endpoint devices.
- Familiarity with workstation deployment, imaging, and installation processes.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience working with incident and service request management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and end-user support aptitude.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding environments when required.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments.
- Knowledge of user account administration and endpoint management processes.
- Familiarity with hardware upgrades, system migrations, and device lifecycle support.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
