Sr. Test Automation Engineer

<>Position Summary

The Sr. Test Automation Engineer is a senior-level quality engineering professional responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of technology solutions. This role partners with engineering, product, and business teams to identify risks, contribute to user story definition, define and review test strategies, and build scalable automation solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong QA mindset, creativity, and a proactive approach to improving software quality across the development lifecycle.

<>Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business risks and contribute to user story definition and acceptance criteria.
  • Define, develop, and review test cases, test plans, and overall test strategy.
  • Design and build automation frameworks from the ground up and continuously improve automated test coverage.
  • Perform web application testing and contribute to quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Utilize testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, and JMeter.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Gherkin methodologies to improve testability and requirement clarity.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Bring creative, innovative thinking to solve quality and testing challenges.
  • Champion a quality-first mindset by helping teams build, test, and continuously improve software solutions.
