Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team focused on modernizing and enhancing the client experience. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in a design-driven environment and enjoys building scalable, high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Design and build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API
• Integrate front-end applications with backend systems
• Design and manage SQL Server databases, including schema design and query optimization
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members

What You'll Bring

• 5-10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC
• 5+ years of experience with front-end development (Angular preferred, but not required)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Git or similar version control tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools

Work Breakdown

• 80% software development (including architecture, database design, and planning)
• 20% production support and incident management

Work Environment

• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Will get up to 5% bonus based on individual and company performance. 401K and match Medical, dental, vision, long and short term disability PTO and holidays
