Job#: 3019760 Job Description: .NET Developer (Work Management & Integration Platforms)
Overview
We are seeking a
.NET Developer to join a team responsible for the
technology foundation supporting interconnection and infrastructure work. This role focuses on strengthening and evolving a
home-built work management system and its supporting architecture to ensure it operates at peak efficiency as demand continues to grow.
The team works heavily with
data integration, internal systems, and RTO data sources, and is currently re-evaluating workflows and processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability-especially in response to increased workloads driven by data center growth and related initiatives.
This role is less about building end-user applications and more about
building, improving, and supporting the underlying systems and architectures that enable the business to execute effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the foundation architecture of a home-built work management system
- Design and develop solutions within the .NET ecosystem to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Integrate data from RTOs and internal enterprise systems
- Collaborate with engineering and business partners to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization
- Ensure systems are operating at optimal capacity and aligned with evolving business needs
- Support deployment and operational workflows within a containerized and automated environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as the team reassesses how technology can better enable work management processes
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software development within the .NET ecosystem
- Strong experience with SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment tooling, including:
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on OpenShift or similar container platforms
- Solid understanding of system integration and backend services
- Ability to work effectively in an environment with custom-built systems that evolve over time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting work management, operational, or workflow-driven systems
- Exposure to utility, energy, or infrastructure domains (nice to have, not required)
- Experience working in environments with high demand, changing priorities, and significant system scale
Why This Role
- Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems rather than surface-level application features
- High impact role focused on making complex workflows more efficient and scalable
- Significant influence as the team reassesses and modernizes how technology supports the business
- Work with modern DevOps and container technologies in a real-world, high-volume environment
