Job Description
Responsible for the administration, engineering, and operational support of the enterprise Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) environment across corporate and regulated networks. Managed the full lifecycle of endpoint security solutions, including implementation, migration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Administered and maintained the enterprise Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) infrastructure, including SEP Manager and Endpoint Protection clients.
Planned and executed migrations from legacy antivirus platforms to Symantec Endpoint Protection with minimal business disruption.
Designed, built, and managed test environments to evaluate, benchmark, and validate SEP upgrades, patches, and new features before production deployment.
Managed antivirus definitions, content updates, product patches, and security policy configurations across enterprise endpoints.
Ensured compliance with NERC CIP requirements and internal security policies for endpoint protection on regulated systems.
Provided technical expertise in malware prevention, virus outbreak response, endpoint security hardening, and security incident remediation.
Developed deployment packages and supported enterprise-wide rollout of SEP clients across Windows server and workstation environments.
Performed advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization for SEP production and development environments.
