About the JobIn this role, you will interpret business requirements and technical specifications to build robust, scalable software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the full development lifecycle-from design and full-stack development to testing, maintenance, and issue resolution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams to investigate user-reported problems, maintain system health, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to drive efficiency, security, and code quality.
Responsibilities- Translate written requirements and technical specifications into highly functional, working software solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document complex, user-reported software issues.
- Perform continuous software maintenance and resolve defects efficiently.
- Author and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and manual tests; implement test plans and harnesses.
- Partner with business analysts, quality assurance professionals, and engineering peers in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality products.
Minimum Qualifications- Extensive experience using C# and .NET to build and maintain backend services and complex business logic.
- Proficiency in modern front-end development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing, integrating, and maintaining SOAP-based web services and legacy integrations.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting cloud-native applications (specifically using Pivotal/Tanzu Cloud Foundry).
- Hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, testing, and reviews.
- Proven track record in software testing, defect resolution, and test plan implementation.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating to .NET Standard / .NET Core.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and relational data access patterns.
- Experience managing version control with Git and executing CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of test automation and integration testing frameworks.
- Exceptional debugging, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate effectively.
