Description: Our client is currently seeking a QA Engineer (Playwright/mobile app testing)

Essential Functions
  • Develop, review, and execute test cases using Playwright based on project requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure a smooth and effective testing process throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Track, manage, and maintain test cases and defects using the Jira ticketing system.
  • Perform functional, regression, and mobile testing across various devices and platforms.
  • Document test results clearly and report issues to the development team in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
  • Support the maintenance of test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in writing and executing test cases using Playwright.
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and test case management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting test outcomes and preparing clear, concise bug reports.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Skills & Education / Experience
  • Basic understanding of API testing and database testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-5 years of Quality Assurance experience, with a focus on web and mobile application testing.
