Summary

Research, author, audit and amend technical documents in support of Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Engineering.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with Aircraft Engineering, Maintenance and Materiel on part number setups, interchangeability, and obsolescence.
  • Research, develop, audit, and amend technical documents as related to aircraft configuration.
  • Review aircraft configuration case exceptions and coordinate with Aircraft Records to address aircraft effectivity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Professional Aeronautics, Computer Science, Business or Related Discipline.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years in a technical discipline related to aviation, i.e. Maintenance, Engineering Support, Air Carrier Manuals and Records Systems. Experience in interpretation of IPC, Service Bulletins, Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, Engineering Specifications or Aircraft Maintenance Records.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong practical knowledge of aircraft part number management as related to aircraft configuration and technical manuals used in the aviation industry.

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills. Advanced use of Adobe Pro, OPTIX and Microsoft applications required.

Good communication skills.
