Summary

Groovy Engineer/ Devops with strong Groovy, Jenkins and AWS

Location: Mclean, VA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibility:

  • Design and maintain CICD pipelines
  • Design and maintain Access control mechanism
    • Role based access
    • Permissions for pipeline and deployments using Hashicorp vault
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins Shared libraries
  • Develop and maintain DSL pipelines
  • Build and manage Docker images
  • Deployments using Kubernetes and Helm charts
  • Deployment tools using Spinnaker and Rafay
  • Integrate security checks into pipelines using SAST scan and secrets managements
  • Automate Environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployments and permission related issues
  • Monitor and optimize performance related errors

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of software/DevOps engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical lead capacity.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Groovy (including Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline DSL).
  • Strong experience with Jenkins (declarative and scripted pipelines) and CI/CD automation.
  • Solid programming background in Java and/or scripting (Shell, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with source control (Git), artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus), and static analysis tools (SonarQube).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure SDLC practices.
