The Role & Key Responsibilities:
  • Review entity-level accounting including journal entry preparation and input, data uploads, monthly close procedures and financial statement preparation
  • Review cash support packages, vendor setups, and invoice vouchering for vendor invoice payments
  • Review supporting schedules for various activities and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with the firm's control procedures through the preparation and review of work-papers, quality assurance review of support packages, and other support as requested
  • Manage a team and oversight of calendar of deliverables
  • Manage client relationships, providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Participate in semi-annual performance review process for team and delivery of feedback
  • Provide formal and informal training of technical concepts
  • Manage special projects, as assigned

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (CPA a plus)
  • Public accounting and/or real estate company experience preferred
  • 10+ years of relative experience
  • Technical expertise in real estate property accounting
  • MRI or Yardi experience is a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (Various SUM functions/VLOOKUP's/Index-Match/PivotTables - Macro/OLEDB experience a plus)
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Flexible in adjusting to changing priorities

Salary ranges from USD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
