Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Google Gemini / Google Cloud AI Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert supporting generative AI initiatives across the enterprise.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising stakeholders on AI use cases, supporting solution design and enablement, and assisting with the adoption of secure, scalable AI solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), generative AI models, and enterprise workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities:
GenAI Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as the primary SME for Google Gemini and broader generative AI capabilities across the organization.
- Advise stakeholders on strategic Gemini use cases including developer productivity, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
AI Architecture & Solution Design:
- Design and support robust AI architectures utilizing the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem.
- Integrate cloud services heavily focusing on Vertex AI, BigQuery, and enterprise APIs.
Pilots, Enablement, and PoCs:
- Support and drive the development of AI pilots, proofs of concept (PoC), and overall enablement initiatives.
- Build, migrate, and optimize clean environment templates and configurations for AI deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance:
- Collaborate closely with technical engineering and business teams to ensure complete alignment.
- Align AI solution deployments with security, data governance, and strict compliance requirements.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide high-quality technical documentation, deployment guidance, and structured knowledge transfer.
- Participate actively in project meetings and collaborative working sessions to gather stakeholder sign-off.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in cloud computing, AI/ML, data engineering, or advanced analytics roles.
- Hands-on, practical experience working with Google Gemini ecosystems (including Gemini for Workspace, Gemini API, or Gemini in Vertex AI).
- Strong, foundational experience engineering within the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment.
- Deep understanding of generative AI models, advanced prompt engineering techniques, and AI-enabled software workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills necessary for conducting client sessions and delivering technical guidance.
Preferred Skills:
- Active Google Cloud professional certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or Professional ML Engineer).
- Direct experience building and managing Vertex AI platforms and production-grade MLOps pipelines.
- Broad exposure to multiple Large Language Model platforms beyond Google (e.g., Anthropic Claude, OpenAI).
- Prior experience supporting state, local, or federal government clients.
- Knowledge of data governance, AI ethics, and compliance standards.
