Location: San Antonio, Texas (On-site)
Role Overview
We are seeking a UI5 Developer for a role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site five days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment, working independently from high-level functional designs to develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Work within an S/4 HANA environment to build new solutions.
- Utilize Business Application Studio (BAS) and GIT for development.
- Work with OData v4, REST APIs, and CDS-based annotations.
- Understand and apply modularized ABAP code.
- Operate independently with minimal guidance to deliver solutions based on high-level functional designs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building custom UI5 applications; previous projects must be custom UI5 development, not primarily Fiori-based.
- Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Experience in an S/4 HANA environment.
- Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views.
- Experience with Fiori Elements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivering complex ABAP developments independently.
- Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of CDS views.
- Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.
