Business Analyst - Local to Chicago

The Business Analyst will work as part of a team to elicit requirements by reviewing documentation, interviewing stakeholders, leading current vs. future state work-sessions and documenting findings. Additionally, the Business Analyst will participate in system design and QA testing as required.

This role requires a self-starter with strong analytical skills; the ability to work independently as well as within a team; good client presence and strong communication skills.

• Conceptual and analytical thinker with the ability to define business requirements and extract, analyze, and synthesize complex business insights
• Ability to interview stakeholders to understand technology needs
• Ability to drive out technical requirements with business and IT stakeholders for implementations of solutions
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodology
• Experience with use case buildout
• Experience with current vs. future state technology definition
• Demonstrated ability in effectively engaging, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across both business and technology functions
• Ability to perform knowledge transfer to support a team

Qualifications:

• Experience with Databricks and MSSQL data querying skills.
• Strong business acumen and a passion for solving problems with data-driven solutions
• Client centric focus with strong relationship skills and the ability to influence business decisions
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
• Excellent client presence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience at a consulting firm a plus.
• Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
