Position Overview:-
The client is seeking a Front End Web Designer/Developer that will support the ongoing UX design and front-end development and support needs for enterprise web application and web site solutions developed for the Client .The primary focus is to build and support accessible web UI components and support user experience consistency across enterprise web solutions.web applications remain accessible, consistent, and adequately supported, and without this supplemental staffing, growing UX and front-end demands will outpace capacity, delay key business processes and risking diminished service quality.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create, update, and refresh web component and user interface prototypes
- Build HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript in accessible ways for content management systems and enterprise products
- Work cross team across NCDIT Transportation to bring user interface consistency
- Perform training sessions/webinars for NCDOT business customers on created apps/sites/tools
Skills/Requirements:-
- JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency Required 5 Years
- Vite for modern build tooling Desired 3 Years
- State management with signals or reactive stores Required 4 Years
- Web performance optimization Required 3 Years
- Design systems and component library architecture Desired 3 Years
