Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary quality interface to customer at production location.
  • Lead escort for customer visits, audits, PPAP reviews and more.
  • Ensure customer requirements and expectations are understood and coordinate efforts to meet those.
  • Coordinating all customer activities with respect to customer complaints and pilot/functional product runoffs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous improvement by tracking and achieving quality targets
  • Collaborate with customers to align manufacturing processes with quality requirements and integrate customer feedback for quality enhancement.
  • Ensure and monitor compliance with customer-specific quality standards and requirements at production location.
  • Oversee quality assurance tasks across the manufacturing process, with authority to stop production, decide on blocking of suspect or defective parts or products.
  • Lead structured problem solving approach for customer complaints and track implemention of corrective actions (including lessons learned) at production location.
  • Manage communication between customers and segments including review and reporting in customer portals.
  • Trace affected products on customer side, transport, warehouse stock and production and coordinate internally and with customer.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent
  • Understanding of statistical concepts, AIAG procedures and knowledge of current quality specifications.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and set a standard for cleanliness in the work area, makes an effort to assist co-workers, have a positive attitude and remain even tempered in an adverse working environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Have the ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • Project planning and management skills
