Summary

Main Sail LLC is looking for an SAP Finance (FI) & Funds Management (FM) consultant for a greenfield implementation of a new S/4HANA environment. The consultant should have knowledge of S/4HANA Finance & Funds Management and experience with:

Financial enterprise structure.
Segments, Profit Centers, Funds, and Funds Centers, and Commitment Items.
Cost elements including Cost Centers and WBS Elements.
G/L Account setup.
FMDERIVE.
Funds Management, Project Systems, and Controlling modules.
Responsibilities include
Gather requirements during workshops and/or from written business process documents.
Design standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions to meet defined requirements.
Propose business processes changes to avoid heavy customization.
Develop, write, and execute test scripts.
Demonstrate solutions to leadership and clients.
Work with other functional areas to ensure full end-to-end business processing.

Mandatory Experience:

8+ years of SAP FI and FM experience
Requirements gathering/documentation
Business process mapping
SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation
SAP S/4HANA FI implementation
Experience with other financial modules such as CO, and PS.
Fiori experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Data exchanges such as IDOC or direct interface
Relevant SAP S/4HANA certifications

Location: Remote with potential travel to client s site for workshops.
Period of Performance: Anticipated start in April 2026 with target MVP deployment in March 2027. Expect the client to have contract options for execution of subsequent years.
