Help Build the Infrastructure Behind Modern TechnologyOur client is seeking a detail-oriented
Network Deployment Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure deployments within large-scale data center environments. This role combines technical knowledge, project coordination, and operational planning to ensure network implementations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. What You'll Do- Plan and coordinate network infrastructure deployments across multiple data center locations
- Manage project timelines, work orders, and deployment schedules to ensure successful execution
- Track project milestones, documentation, and deliverables throughout the deployment lifecycle
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support implementation activities
- Review network documentation, cut sheets, engineering drawings, floor plans, and bills of materials
- Support capacity planning and network expansion initiatives
- Assist with network hardware deployments, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades
- Manage work priorities through ticketing systems and workflow management tools
- Identify project risks, remove obstacles, and escalate issues when necessary
- Support troubleshooting efforts involving fiber, copper, patching, and network connectivity issues
- Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity across all project activities
- Deliver repeatable, scalable processes that improve operational efficiency
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a data center environment
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI Model
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling infrastructure
- Experience supporting patching and network deployment activities
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, cut sheets, and network diagrams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional teams
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between work sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications- CompTIA Network+ certification or pursuit of CCNA certification
- Experience with project coordination, work-order management, or deployment planning
- Telecommunications, structured cabling, or network infrastructure experience
- Familiarity with Ethernet, TCP/IP, and IP networking concepts
- Experience in large-scale data center operations
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and workflow management tools
- Exposure to project management methodologies and structured project delivery

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.05 - $25.05/hr.
