Description
Our large IT client is seeking an Experienced Network Engineer to support our continuous network deployment efforts and operational readiness for data center networking initiatives at the program level. The engineer will be responsible for tracking execution at a high level, handling reporting, and driving escalations to ensure that deadlines are met. You will contribute to planning and executing network builds, improving deployment consistency, and enhancing automation and process efficiency.
Responsibilities for this role:
Track the execution of deployment tasks, including implementation support, turn-up readiness, and validation of network changes
Support network deployment activities for data center and/or backbone networking environments
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce risk, increase consistency, and improve delivery timelines
Leverage automation tools and scripting to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure deployments align with technical requirements and timelines
Maintain clear documentation of deployment activities, issues encountered, and remediation steps

Large data center deployment experience
Experience at major tech companies (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle)
Prior leadership or program management experience overseeing deployment teams
Experience with Tier 2 providers building large-scale data centers
Fortune 10 enterprise experience with extensive network infrastructure
Understanding of automation tools and frameworks

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130.00 - $145.00/hr.
