Job Title: Salesforce CRM Software Engineer
Contract Length: 12+ Months
Hybrid work (4 days per week in either San Antonio, TX/ Plano, TX/ Phoenix, AZ)

Seeking a Senior Salesforce CRM Software Engineer to support the development of scalable, digital-first investment solutions within a fast-paced Agile technology environment. This role will contribute to the design, development, integration, and optimization of enterprise software solutions using Salesforce CRM technologies, cloud platforms, APIs, and modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, code, test, and implement complex software solutions across multiple technologies
  • Lead solution architecture and development efforts for investment-related business applications
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems
  • Lead code reviews and design reviews to ensure quality and best practices
  • Develop complex algorithms and technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Investigate and resolve complex application and production issues
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on development and system maintenance
  • Identify and resolve system performance issues and technical debt
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, implementation, and production support
  • Ensure compliance with security, risk, and governance standards
  • Participate in troubleshooting end-to-end integrated systems and APIs
  • Contribute to architectural direction and engineering quality standards

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent additional experience in lieu of degree
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • 4+ years of experience delivering technology solutions across the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience leading code reviews and design reviews
  • Understanding of one or more of the following:

    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • Python
    • SQL
    • HTML/CSS
    • Kotlin
    • Go
    • C++
    • Swift
    • Objective-C
    • Cobol

  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and resolving technical problems
  • Experience researching and developing innovative technical solutions
  • Experience communicating technical challenges and solutions
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and secure system design
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and cloud-based tools

Preferred Skills


  • Enterprise Salesforce development experience using:

    • Apex
    • Visualforce
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Experience with Salesforce REST APIs and Bulk APIs
  • Experience building APIs with Spring Boot
  • Experience designing and implementing containerized APIs using Docker
  • Experience with:

    • Salesforce DX
    • Maven or Gradle
    • Git-based version control
    • GitLab CI/CD frameworks

  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of:

    • OpenShift
    • Salesforce CRM
    • Customer Data Platform (CDP)
    • Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
    • Cloud infrastructure platforms

  • Experience developing secure, scalable, and high-performance applications
  • Experience with:

    • Control-M

  • Experience with solution architecture and solution design
