Develop and design scalable, web-based, backend software applications, frameworks in a full stack development environment, event-driven services, customer-facing digital platforms, web and mobile applications, data feeds, pipelines, code, containerized applications, features, enterprise software solutions, scripts. Review real-time data processing across high-performance, distributed systems, high availability, low latency, security in cloud-hosted environments, system architecture, requirements, quality, resilience, prototyping tools, performance, user experience, compliance, sprints, data exchange and integrations, serverless functions, epics, stories, tasks, encryption, authentication, authorization, POC. Confer with cross-functional teams. Automate testing, deployment and monitoring. Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, architectural diagrams, system design artifacts, component specifications, data flow models, deployment guides. Perform automated, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Troubleshoot, ensure uptime, Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, formulate validation plans. Use Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript, RESTful API, AWS, Lambda, S3, EKS, SNS, Ajax, SQS, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Ansible, JSP, Jboss, Swagger, OpenAPI, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Agile, React. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience assessing data; developing scripts and data models; reviewing quality; performing testing; using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Ajax, JSP, Jboss, Hibernate, Eclipse. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150/yr.
