Develop, design, implement, debug, support enterprise-level software applications supporting business units and functions, solutions, platforms, hardware, tools, data access layers, database schemas, queries, stored procedures, data modeling. Review technical direction, system architecture, front-end components, backend systems, objectives, action plans, integration points, performance optimization, data formats, code, security, scalability, pipelines, APIs, memory, database queries, containerized deployments, scripts, workflows, cloud environments. Perform unit, integration, automated, behavior-driven testing, and troubleshooting. Confer with teams regarding requirements, technical solutions, sprints. Refactor legacy applications. Maintain technical design documentation, identify problems, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Java, JAX-RS, REST, Java EE, J2EE, CDI, JPA, Bean Validation, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Elasticsearch, XML, SQL, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring, MVC, Hibernate, Mockito, Cucumber, RESTEasy, JSON, CI/CD, Agile, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful API, RESTful and SOAP Web Services, Git. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience performing debugging, troubleshooting, validation; developing enterprise applications and components; reviewing performance, code, security, scalability, pipelines, technical design; using Java, J2EE, JPA, JDBC, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, CI/CD, Jenkins, RESTful and SOAP Web Services, Git. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
