Title: Senior Workday Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months with potential extensions
Must Have: Must have ADP global view and Workday Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Developer to join our team as a contingent worker. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining complex Workday integrations and custom solutions that connect our Workday environment with third-party systems and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development Utilize Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transformation, and XSLT 3.0 to develop complex inbound and outbound integrations that meet business requirements and technical standards.
Systems Architecture Design, build, and support high-quality, secure integrations including RaaS reports and APIs that seamlessly connect Workday with third-party vendors and enterprise systems.
Troubleshooting & Support Resolve production issues efficiently, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and provide ongoing maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
Documentation Create comprehensive technical designs, system flows, and deployment documentation that support knowledge transfer and maintainability.
Reporting Develop and maintain Advanced, Matrix, and composite reports using Workday reporting tools and BIRT to deliver actionable business intelligence.
Knowledge Sharing Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to share and impart technical knowledge effectively in both individual and group settings.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
- 4-7+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Expert-level proficiency in Workday Studio and advanced integration tools including Core Connectors and EIB
- Strong technical skills in XML, XSLT, XPath, and Web Services (SOAP and REST)
- Proven experience with Workday API development and custom reports (RaaS)
- Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and Compensation business processes within Workday
- Knowledge of Advanced, Matrix, and composite reporting, including BIRT
