About the Role

In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. You will analyze and resolve multi-faceted challenges that require deep technical expertise and strategic thinking. This position involves collaborating closely with client personnel to deliver high-quality solutions that meet compliance and business objectives.
Responsibilities

• Review and analyze large-scale, complex software engineering challenges, including unprecedented factors and intangibles.
• Contribute to resolving multi-faceted technical issues by applying a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client teams on critical initiatives.
• Build, develop, implement, and maintain core blockchain modules in Go using the Cosmos SDK, including a role-based token factory for native asset issuance.
• Design and implement custom logic within the ABCI++ interface (Prepare-Proposal/Process-Proposal) for advanced features and optimizations.
• Configure, launch, and maintain blockchain networks, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning.
• Implement and manage cross-chain functionality using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure security, correctness, and performance.
• Participate in architectural discussions, conduct rigorous code reviews, and maintain high standards for technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• Strong proficiency in Go and experience with Cosmos SDK.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain network configuration and maintenance.
• Deep understanding of consensus mechanisms and cross-chain communication protocols.
• Proven ability to write secure, performant, and well-tested code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ABCI++ interface and advanced blockchain optimizations.
• Familiarity with validator setup and consensus parameter tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
