Description: Job Description (Google-Style Rewrite)Role OverviewIn this contingent role, you will support large-scale, complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering. You will analyze and advise on multifaceted engineering challenges that require deep technical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to evaluate ambiguous or unprecedented factors. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure solutions align with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
You will work as part of an existing product team, contributing to the development of a new application in
Workday Extend supporting workforce development and workforce management.
Responsibilities- Provide consultation on complex, large-scale engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze and evaluate technical challenges that involve multiple variables, long-term implications, or atypical conditions.
- Develop recommendations rooted in strong understanding of engineering functions, compliance requirements, and operational policies.
- Collaborate strategically with client and internal personnel to drive high-quality deliverables.
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio and Integration System tools.
- Support development efforts for new applications using Workday Extend.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering, or equivalent experience gained through a combination of professional work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Integration System and Workday Studio development.
- Experience in Workday Extend application development.
- Workday Prism experience is a plus.
