About the Role

In this contingent assignment, you will support large-scale software engineering initiatives and provide expert guidance on complex technical challenges. You will work across cross-functional teams, analyze multifaceted engineering problems, and help drive solutions that align with organizational policies, compliance standards, and long-term strategic goals.

This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to evaluate ambiguous or unprecedented issues, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
• Review, assess, and provide recommendations on multi-layered engineering challenges involving technical, procedural, and compliance considerations.
• Lead analysis for large-scale or long-term engineering efforts, including situations requiring evaluation of non-standard or intangible factors.
• Contribute to the development of solutions for sophisticated or ambiguous technical scenarios.
• Partner strategically with client teams to align engineering decisions with business objectives and operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through:
  • Professional work or consulting
  • Technical training
  • Military experience
  • Formal education

Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid depending on client requirements)
