We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with 15+ years of combined experience supporting enterprise database platforms, including DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database administration, performance tuning, infrastructure planning, operational support, and technical documentation.
Required Experience
The candidate must have 15 years of combined database administration experience with the following platforms:
- DB2 for z/OS
- SQL Server 2008R2 and 2012
- Oracle 10g and above
- GIS database environments
Primary Responsibilities
The resource will perform database planning, administration, and operational support activities, including:
- Perform daily database administration and operational support
- Plan, design, implement, and support database structures
- Monitor and tune database performance
- Develop and maintain database procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL code reviews
- Support database and infrastructure change management activities
- Assist with training and mentoring technical staff
- Perform other database or infrastructure-related duties as assigned

- Technical infrastructure implementation planning and coordination

- IBI z/OS service support

- Disaster recovery technical requirements
- Oracle application integration, performance management, and database administration
- Microsoft SQL Server application integration, performance management, and database administration

- Azure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial management applications
- Strong mainframe, database, and infrastructure support background
- Ability to mentor technical staff and document technical processes effectively
