Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading user-centered design initiatives and working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business and customer problems. This role spans the full UX lifecycle, including user research, strategy, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and usability testing.
The candidate must have strong expertise in UI and responsive/mobile design, visual design, qualitative and quantitative user research, and Figma or similar prototyping tools. They should be able to apply design systems and WCAG accessibility standards to create intuitive, scalable, and accessible digital experiences.
This role requires someone who can quickly understand specialized business and logistics workflows, analyze multi-department operational processes, and translate them into effective design solutions. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication skills, enabling them to present design rationale, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, delivery teams, and business partners.
Key responsibilities include planning and leading user research initiatives, creating design and testing artifacts, producing high-fidelity prototypes, conducting usability testing, and helping teams use research findings to inform design decisions. The candidate will also collaborate with a matrixed UX team, provide design critiques, and guide early-career designers.
Must Have Skills:
7 -15 years of experience
UI and responsive/mobile design
Visual design and usability testing
Quantitative and qualitative user research
Figma design and prototyping software or similar
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to apply design systems and WCAG accessibility standards
Experience leading design projects
Good to Have Skills:
Guiding development teams to execute UX designs
Facilitating workshops with large stakeholder groups
Familiarity with Material Design or similar design systems
Experience with research repositories such as Dovetail
Analytics and data interpretation skills
Experience presenting to executives
Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Sensei, and Microsoft Copilot
Ability to use AI tools for content generation, workflow automation, and design ideation
Understanding of AI’s impact on UX workflows, user behavior, and ethical design
