Oracle CC&B Functional Consultant

Ideal Candidate Profile An ideal candidate is a senior Oracle CC&B functional consultant who can confidently engage utility business leaders, run requirement workshops independently, understand CC&B source data and business processes, and work closely with data architects/modelers to define comprehensive enterprise data models that support analytics, reporting, regulatory, operational, and customer-focused use cases. Job Summary • Experience: 8+ years | Primary Skill: Oracle CC&B | Number of Positions: 1 • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Functional Lead to support a large-scale data transformation and analytics initiative. The candidate will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Oracle CC&B subject matter experts, data architects, and data modelers. • The role requires leading requirement gathering workshops, documenting business processes and data requirements, translating utility business needs into logical and physical data model requirements, and ensuring that enterprise data models accurately represent CC&B business processes, customer data, billing data, financial data, service agreements, premise and meter data. Key Responsibilities • Business Requirements & Stakeholder Management • Lead discovery sessions and workshops with utility business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, billing teams, customer service teams, and IT stakeholders. • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to customer care, billing, collections, payments, meter-to-cash, service orders, and regulatory reporting. • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align business objectives with data and analytics requirements. • Act as the trusted advisor and Oracle CC&B SME for customer and client stakeholders. • Manage requirement traceability and ensure alignment between business needs and delivered data solutions. • Oracle CC&B Functional Expertise • Provide deep functional expertise across Oracle CC&B modules including: • Customer Information • Account Management • Service Agreements • Billing & Rating • Payments • Collections • Premise & Service Points • Financial Transactions • Meter-to-Cash processes • Analyze CC&B data structures and business processes. • Identify key business entities, relationships, and data dependencies within CC&B. • Documentation & Governance • Create and maintain: • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) • Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) • User Stories • Process Flows • Business Glossaries • Data Mapping Specifications • Support testing, UAT, and business stakeholder sign-off. • Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B. • 5+ years of experience leading business requirements workshops. • Strong understanding of utility business processes and meter-to-cash lifecycle. • Experience working directly with utility clients and business stakeholders. • Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse, data lake, or analytics initiatives. • Ability to translate functional requirements into data requirements and data models. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Key Skills • Functional Skills • Oracle CC&B • Utility Customer Information Systems (CIS) • Meter-to-Cash • Billing & Collections • Customer Care Operations • Utility Business Processes • Consulting Skills • Workshop Facilitation • Business Analysis • Stakeholder Management • Requirements Elicitation • Process Modeling • Executive Communication
