This Long-term Contract position is based in Denver, Colorado, and offers the opportunity to shape product strategy through customer-centered research and evidence-based insights. The ideal candidate will use a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user needs, evaluate concepts, and help teams make informed design and business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Lead validation sessions for new ideas and assess prototypes with relevant user groups in the financial services space.

Translate research results into clear presentations, reports, and readouts that resonate with both specialized and non-technical audiences.

Track industry developments and competitor experiences to identify benchmarks, gaps, and innovation opportunities within Wealth Management offerings.

Represent customer perspectives throughout the product lifecycle so that solutions align with both user expectations and organizational priorities.

Maintain organized research documentation, including study plans, findings, and guidance, for easy access across teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Sciences, Marketing Research, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of UX research experience, including work in Wealth Management, Financial Services, FinTech, or a comparable domain.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute both qualitative and quantitative studies from planning through analysis.
Hands-on knowledge of methods such as user interviews, usability testing, diary studies, surveys, concept testing, and competitive research.
Experience collaborating closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders using research findings.
Solid analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with careful attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.
Familiarity with research and analysis platforms such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, or similar tools is preferred.
