As a Permanent Superintendent for Multi-Family (Wood Frame) in the Construction industry, you will be at the helm of our wood frame construction projects, primarily focusing on garden style and ground-up multi-family residential buildings. This position offers an opportunity to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish. You will be the key person responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the construction site and controlling the short-term schedule. The role also involves maintaining a safe working environment, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring the quality of work performed.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all construction activities related to wood frame multi-family projects, ensuring that specifications and quality standards are met.
2. Develop and maintain the construction schedule in conjunction with project team to meet the project deadlines.
3. Establish and manage relationships with team members, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
4. Ensure safety on the project site by implementing safety protocols and guidelines.
5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the work is progressing as per the schedule and that the workmanship meets the quality standards.
6. Manage and resolve day-to-day field issues, conflicts, and discrepancies.
7. Prepare and submit daily reports and other documentation, as required.
8. Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
9. Monitor costs, including labor time and material.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven track record of managing garden style, ground-up, wood frame construction projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and rules & regulations.
4. Exceptional leadership and management skills with an ability to lead a diverse team.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.
7. Proficient in construction software programs.
8. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
9. Demonstrated understanding of the building process, safety procedures, and regulations.
10. Must have a valid driver's license.
11. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
