Razor is looking for a
Jr Cloud Engineer/AWS Administrator to support the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-native services within mission-critical U.S. Government environments. This role focuses on hybrid cloud technologies, containerization, automation, monitoring, and application support across Linux-based cloud environments.
Education & Certification Requirements: Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience. Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.
Responsibilities: - Design, implement, integrate, and test cloud-native features and capabilities
- Support hybrid cloud environments using containerization, orchestration, and serverless technologies
- Develop and support web-based interfaces and REST or gRPC APIs
- Work with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies
- Support automation using Ansible, Bash, Go, and related tools
- Support monitoring and logging technologies including Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana
- Manage cloud package repositories including Yum and Helm
- Work across Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments
- Utilize Git and Agile tools such as Jira within Scrum or Kanban teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud application and infrastructure issues
Qualifications: - 4+ years of recent programming experience with Java, Python, C++, Go, or equivalent platform integration/automation experience
- Experience developing applications in Linux environments
- 3+ years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies
- 2+ years of experience deploying applications with Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies
- Experience supporting cloud-native or hybrid cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Desired Skills: - AWS cloud administration experience
- CKAD or CKA certification
- Open-source software experience
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
