Job Details

A well-established, small public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a broad range of client services, including tax, assurance, and advisory work. This role offers hands-on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership in a collaborative environment.
The firm values professionalism, quality work, and long-term employee development, and fosters a supportive, inclusive culture focused on balance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements
Supervise and review bookkeeping work and related engagements
Support clients with general accounting and tax-related projects and inquiries
Assist with training and mentoring junior-level accountants

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's or MBA a plus
CPA license or active pursuit of licensure
3+ years of public accounting (CPA firm) experience
Experience with common tax and accounting software platforms (e.g., CCH environments, QuickBooks, Sage preferred)
Strong Excel and MS Office skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
