Job#: 3031015 Job Description: Apex Systems is hiring for a Data Analyst for a large healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in EST (this is non-negotiable).
Employment Type: 6-months contract with possibility to extend or convert.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for supporting analytical data needs for the organization. The role involves handling complex data requests, creating reports, and contributing to predictive data modeling efforts. The analyst will work with various data sources to provide insights and support health management programs.
We need an analyst who can reconcile data between our Provider network and Portico system.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze health management programs, including data collection, validation, and outcome measurement.
- Work with financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member data.
- Support reporting requirements for entities such as the IRS, CMS, and HEDIS.
- Perform internal data cleansing and data reconciliation analysis.
- Create and generate reports using MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL.
- Produce reports for and interface with senior management and internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and interpret business requirements and monitor data trends to proactively identify issues.
- Execute data changes and update core systems as needed.
- Handle multiple projects and timelines effectively, communicating risks and issues regularly.
- Extract and Analyze data from Portico system.
- Extract and Analyze data using advanced SQL skills from SQL Server and Oracle.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience is required. Having basic understanding of Provider data is strongly recommended. Having hands on knowledge of Portico is strongly recommended. Multi-tasking ability + great communication are a must.
Technical Skills: Healthcare experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
Data extraction using SQL in SQL Server and Oracle; Data analysis.
Provider Data understanding in Portico system.
Compensation & Benefits
