Summary

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Staffing & IT Services

Location: Plainsboro, NJ (onsite)

Job Type: Contract/ Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities (“new logos”) within the IT staffing and services space, with a special focus on Big 4 consulting firms and direct enterprise clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, “farming” existing accounts to increase revenue through cross-selling and up-selling of staffing and IT solutions.
  • Work closely with delivery and recruiting teams to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans for key customers, mapping stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Represent Lorven Technologies at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market intelligence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of proven experience in business development in IT staffing and services, with demonstrated success acquiring and expanding business with the Big 4 (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) and direct enterprise clients.
  • Strong network and relationships within the staffing industry and with decision-makers at the Big 4 and direct customers.
  • Deep understanding of IT consulting, staffing models (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire), and the technology talent landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn) and MS Office Suite.
