Job Title: AWS Python Developer
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) only locals
Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Requirements:
10+ years of overall software development experience
Strong hands-on experience in Python development
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS technologies:
Extensive experience with AWS serverless technologies
Must have worked deeply on:
AWS Lambda (heavy coding experience)
API Gateway (REST API development)
Step Functions (workflow orchestration)
EventBridge / SQS / SNS
S3, DynamoDB, RDS
Strong experience building microservices & event-driven architecture
Hands-on with AWS CDK / Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integrations
Candidate must be a core backend developer (not a data engineer)
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable applications using AWS cloud-native services
Build and maintain **Lambda-based serverless applications and APIs**
Develop **event-driven systems using EventBridge, Step Functions**
Integrate AWS services like S3, DynamoDB, and RDS
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications
Work in Agile teams and contribute to end-to-end development lifecycle
