Job Title - Application Architect with strong AWS and Nodejs/typescript
Location - Dallas, Texas (Hybrid)

Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and lead enterprise-scale AWS serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures.
Define architecture standards, conduct design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness reviews across the full SDLC.
Design scalable distributed systems, streaming data pipelines, and microservices using AWS services.
Review and guide infrastructure as code using CDK or Terraform while enforcing engineering best practices.
Design optimized DynamoDB data models, access patterns, and scalable document database solutions.
Work with TypeScript/Node.js applications, OpenSearch, MongoDB, and event-driven services such as Kinesis, SQS, and EventBridge.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software architecture, system reliability, and AI-assisted development practices.

Required Skills:

15+ years of software engineering experience with 6+ years focused on AWS serverless architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda, Serverless Architecture, and distributed systems.
Excellent experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of DynamoDB data modeling, single-table design, GSI strategies, and performance optimization.
Experience with Kinesis, SQS, EventBridge, streaming architectures, and event-driven systems.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform.
Experience with MongoDB, DocumentDB, Couchbase, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
Strong experience conducting architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical leadership across enterprise projects.
