Overview:
Location: Albany, NY
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer who will support our client with Maintenance and Operations activities for a complex enterprise system. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, supporting service requests, and collaborating with users and technical teams to maintain system performance and reliability. The ideal candidate brings strong Java and SQL expertise, solid analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively while working through complex system issues.

Duties:

• Support maintenance and operations activities for a complex application environment.
• Collaborate with users to identify, reproduce, and document reported system issues.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and interface problems and determine root causes.
• Work closely with technical teams to support a holistic approach to system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Manage and support service requests and issue triage activities.
• Analyze system behavior and recommend corrective actions or improvements.
• Create and maintain clear technical and operational documentation.
• Provide consulting and support to stakeholders regarding application issues and system functionality.
• Support web services and backend integrations as part of ongoing operations and maintenance.

• Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.
• 9+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
• 9+ years of experience supporting Maintenance and Operations (M&O) activities. (Experience with Medicaid M&O highly preferred).
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with web services.
• Experience supporting Medicaid Eligibility determination
• Experience collaborating with users and technical teams to recreate and resolve system issues.
• Experience supporting service request management and issue triage.
