The Technical Business Analyst will serve as a crucial link between banking business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design within an Agile Scrum environment. Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, Scrum teams, and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between banking domain experts and development teams to ensure clear understanding and delivery.
- Participate actively in Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for banking projects.
- Support testing activities, including creating test cases and validating solutions against business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, standards, and security protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends, banking regulations, and Agile best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on banking domain.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Deep understanding of banking products such as retail banking, loans, deposits, trade finance, and payments.
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
