Our challenge

The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of banking solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking domain, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering impactful financial products..

 

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $100k-$110/year & benefits (see below)..

 

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy aligned with banking industry trends and customer needs.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, including regulatory mandates, customer feedback, and market analysis.
  • Manage and maintain the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, design, compliance, and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct user story grooming, acceptance testing, and release planning.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding.
  • Monitor product performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated on banking regulations, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner role within banking or financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Certifications such as CSPO, CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), or relevant banking certifications are a plus
