Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and aggressively optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for reporting needs.
- Tune queries and indexes for optimal performance across massive, complex datasets.
- Partner closely with SSIS developers to support, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL packages, data flows, and integration pipelines.
- Collaborate with Power BI developers to ensure data models and underlying SQL structures properly feed the reporting layers.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality checks across source and target systems.
- Document data flows, translate business requirements into technical specs, and resolve data discrepancies.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have skills: SQL DEVELOPMENT
- T-SQL
- SSIS
- At least 10-15+ years of experience.
- Advanced T-SQL & SQL Server
- SSIS (ETL / Data Integration troubleshooting)
- Data Modeling (Supporting Power BI Reporting)
- Performance Tuning & Query Optimization
- Language: English as a first language is strictly required.
- Tenure: Must have a track record of long-term projects and excellent tenure (recent local projects highly preferred).
- Experience Level: 10+ years minimum (15+ preferred) as a SQL Developer.
- Enterprise Background: Must have large, well-known enterprise experience. Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services background is highly preferred and will be prioritized.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across functional and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
