Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial planning, reporting, accounting, and business analysis support for key operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial modeling, accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze business performance, prepare financial forecasts and reports, support month-end and quarter-end close activities, and provide actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

This role requires the ability to work independently, manage large financial datasets, ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting standards, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across finance and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts and prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Manage and analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based financial reports, dashboards, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain policies governing the Company''s financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting and reporting standards.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment of business activities and transactions.
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end financial close activities.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and provide accounting support as needed.
  • Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts and explain significant variances.
  • Support pricing analysis, cost analysis, profitability analysis, ROI evaluations, and strategic business planning.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable financial reporting across business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, corporate reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to strengthen financial and operational controls.
  • Conduct periodic and systematic evaluations of internal control systems and audit trails.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent control framework for domestic and international subsidiary locations.
  • Provide guidance to other departments regarding required financial actions, policies, compliance testing, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support domestic and international financial reporting processes while maintaining reporting accuracy and integrity.
  • Respond to customer and client requests or financial events as they occur.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure compliance with changes in the business and regulatory environment.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support management with financial analysis and recommendations to improve business performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Working knowledge of General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage large datasets and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls.
  • Revenue business acumen and profitability analysis experience.
  • Experience preparing journal entries and providing accounting support.
  • Exposure to internal audit and compliance activities.
  • Experience with financial modeling for strategic planning.
  • Risk management and financial control framework experience.
  • Experience supporting multinational or international business operations.
  • Experience with internal controls, audit trails, and compliance testing.
  • Master''s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
