TITLE: Director of IT / IT Director / Information Technology Director / Director of IT / Technical Director of IT (Direct Hire)

REMOTE FOR IOWA RESIDENTS. YOU MUST RESIDE IN IOWA. IOWA ADDRESSES ONLY. ONSITE in the Des Moines IOWA AREA. WORK ONSITE, WITH FLEXIBILITY EACH WEEK. You MUST be able to drive to Des Moines onsite office weekly.

Direct Hire IT Director of IT in the IOWA area up to $190K PLUS A 20% Bonus depending on years of experience. You must reside in the Iowa area.

HANDS-ON TECHNICAL PLUS LEADERSHIP: You MUST have: hands on current, server & networking IT skills. This is NOT a just DIRECTING / Leadership position. You must straddle both technical AND Leaders

You MUST HAVE:

Current Technical demonstrated experience

Tech Strategic Planning

Technical Roadmap experience

Previous Direct report experience. You will be on the Front Lines working to improve technology for the business, Drive Solutions for the business, and you will be a difference maker in working with the business and leading the Front lines o operations-Strategic & Technical standpoint! This IT Director / Director of IT is a Strategic AND Technical Lead role in a small IT shop!

This is not just management / leadership, MUST be comfortable 'In the Technical Day to Day of the IT organization, being out in Front of the Business needs.

What You Will Need:

Technical IT Current Infrastructure experience

IT Budget experience

Proven track record of Direct Reports and Developing Staff. You must have Technical enough skills to UPSKILL a Technical Team, and address the technical gaps.

Smaller IT / Tech Team, 2 Direct Reports, 10 - 15 people in IT with a larger company.

Prior Infrastructure experience - Current Technical skills with VMware, server support / Windows, O365, and Storage.

Any Application Development knowledge and experience with an ERP software package is a Plus !

General understanding of Server and Network performance and troubleshooting; Windows Server, Active Directory & MS Exchange Server, VOIP, Citrix & HyperVisor technology, Networking, and Cloud based technology. O365, Routers / Switches / Storage

O365 and Cloud experience

Security / Network Security / Generalized Data experience

Managing Vendor relationships

Manage the data center

Requirements

Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, including VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
Strong technical skills in networking, storage, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop IT teams within a smaller organizational structure.
Experience in strategic planning and execution of technology roadmaps.
Knowledge of security practices and network troubleshooting.
Ability to manage IT budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
Familiarity with backup technologies, configuration management, and Cisco systems.
Hands-on expertise with server support, networking hardware, and data center operations.
