Role Summary
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Account Manager / Account Director to drive new business growth and strategic account expansion within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience selling SAP, cloud, and digital transformation solutions to enterprise clients and a proven track record of closing large transformation deals.
This role requires a results-oriented sales leader with a strong hunter mindset who can build executive-level relationships, identify new opportunities, and consistently achieve revenue and order booking targets.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Drive net-new business acquisition within Oil & Gas and Energy enterprise accounts
- Identify, qualify, and pursue large digital transformation opportunities
- Develop and execute account penetration and growth strategies
- Expand relationships across multiple business and technology stakeholders
Revenue & Order Booking Ownership
- Own and achieve annual revenue and order booking targets
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles and strategic deal pursuits
- Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
- Drive deal progression from opportunity identification to closure
Strategic Account Management
- Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Digital Officers, and executive leadership
- Expand existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Position the organization as a strategic transformation partner
SAP & Digital Transformation Sales
Drive enterprise opportunities across:
- SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
- SAP BTP and Integration Suite initiatives
- Cloud migration and modernization programs
- Enterprise application modernization
- API-led integration and digital platform initiatives
Executive Engagement & Collaboration
- Lead executive discussions, transformation workshops, and solution positioning
- Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, and alliance partners
- Support proposal development, deal structuring, and strategic negotiations
Required Experience
- 10–18 years of enterprise sales or account management experience in technology services or consulting
- Strong experience selling SAP solutions, cloud services, or digital transformation programs
- Proven track record of achieving significant order bookings and revenue growth
- Experience closing large enterprise transformation deals valued at $5M+
- Prior experience working with Oil & Gas or Energy sector clients preferred
- Strong understanding of the Houston Oil & Gas market ecosystem
