The International Trade Solution (GTS) Architect will be responsible for determining integrated system design of required business scenarios and processes with focus on International Trade Compliance requirements.
In-depth knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services, including integration with SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with its application areas: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, and Intrastat.
Compliance Management: Embargo control, sanctioned party screening, and legal control checks;
High Complexity - Defence sector requires ITAR/EAR compliance;
Critical for defense contracts and international commercial sales
Customs Management: Automated customs processing, electronic declarations, ATLAS integration;
High Complexity - Multiple jurisdictions and product classifications; Essential for global supply chain operations
Preference Management: Origin determination, free trade agreements, supplier declarations;
Medium Complexity - Duty reduction opportunities; Cost optimization for commercial operations
Design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA for Global Trade Solutions to ensure compliance in the aerospace customer requirements.
Ensure seamless integration with existing SAP and non-SAP feeder systems, including S/4HANA, to maintain full compliance and efficient trade management.
Implement compliance check functionalities such as embargo control, sanctioned party list screening, and legal control checks.
Support SAP GTS in conducting preference determination, customs processing, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of evolving regulations and integrate necessary system adjustments to remain compliant.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting strategies for SAP GTS-related queries and issues.
Integration with document management systems.
